Dr. Li believes that pediatric dentistry is not just about treating baby teeth, but the general well-being of the child. Her approach focuses on prevention, and prioritizes the child’s psyche and overall development when forming a treatment plan. As the oldest of three girls (with a 12-year age gap), she has always assumed a caretaker role in the family and learned to communicate with children at a young age.
After receiving her B.A. in Biology and English from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Li was accepted to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She graduated summa cum laude from dental school and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society for exemplary character and scholarship. After practicing general dentistry for one year, she applied to pediatric dentistry residency and was extremely grateful to have matched to her top choice at the NYU Langone site in Phoenix, AZ.
Dr. Li is now a board eligible pediatric dentist who has been practicing in the Austin area since 2020. She is excited to plant her roots in Austin with her husband and their child. In her spare time, she enjoys gaming, yoga, eating, and traveling, and spending time with family.
