We may take pediatric dentistry seriously, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a good time while doing it! Our team at Hero Way Pediatric Dentistry strives to make each and every visit fun, educational, and comfortable for our patients. We’re passionate about treating teeth, but that’s just part of what we do. We also take the time to get to know our patients and put them at ease. Don’t be surprised if we know your child’s favorite show, book, and song by the time we’re done! We want your child’s introduction to dental care to be a positive one. From cleanings to X-rays, our team will walk them through their appointment every step of the way.

Hero Way Pediatric Dentistry and The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) believe that a child’s best chance of dental success begins by visiting a pediatric dentist at the appearance of the first tooth or by age one, whichever comes first.
We would love to be the “dental home” for your child, a place where oral health care is delivered in a comprehensive, accessible, and family-centered way. Our experience allows us to follow time-tested procedures while also focusing on the most current dental techniques.
Dr. Li believes that pediatric dentistry is not just about treating baby teeth, but the general well-being of the child. Her approach focuses on prevention, and prioritizes the child’s psyche and overall development when forming a treatment plan. As the oldest of three girls (with a 12-year age gap), she has always assumed a caretaker role in the family and learned to communicate with children at a young age.
After receiving her B.A. in Biology and English from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Li was accepted to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She graduated summa cum laude from dental school and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society for exemplary character and scholarship. After practicing general dentistry for one year, she applied to pediatric dentistry residency and was extremely grateful to have matched to her top choice at the NYU Langone site in Phoenix, AZ.
Dr. Li is now a board eligible pediatric dentist who has been practicing in the Austin area since 2020. She is excited to plant her roots in Austin, expecting her first baby with her husband this year. In her spare time, she enjoys gaming, yoga, eating, and traveling, and spending time with family.
